The Views

The Views is the rooftop bar + restaurant. With views of the most iconic landmarks of Sydney Harbour, it is already a space that will attract people to visit it. Its bold glowing nature is clearly visible from the forecourt, and even more bold at night. The daring glow of orange intrigues visitors and lures them up to the space. While the architecture of the rooftop and bar are intertwined, their experience is quite different.

The Bar is a vibrant yet calm and mysterious space that offers a casual lounge like experience for users. The soft set joinery in the space allows allows a more warm and playful nature to the space.

The Restaurant experience is an extension of the Cooking School experience in the Coal Handling Shed. Students from the cooking school exhibit their newfound knowledge and skills by providing a culinary experience for their friends and family or locals. Reservations are required in this intimate chef and diner experience as you watch your food being prepared from start to finish and literally move along with it. All while the sun sets behind the Sydney Harbour.

NOURISH

The Restaurant and Bar is an extension of the experience of the Cooking School in the Coal Handling shed as mentioned above. Having a space that celebrates the skills that were attained from the cooking school experience encourages and excites those who have participated. Having a more intimate relationship between the cook and diner benefits both parties emotional and mental health through the nurture like experience.

Moving along the conveyor belt as the food is being prepared not only mimics the movement seen across all the spaces but allows the diner to have a more educational experience with their food. The dinning experience starts facing away from the Sydney harbour and ends facing towards it so that full focus can be placed on the culinary experience.
